That IS a great love story, and the songs are good too. Unfortunately, when I tried to read through your archives, the song would cut off and re-start from the beginning again every time the page changed/refreshed. I got to the point where I turned off my speakers. I wonder if there is a way to connect your little playlist to this post, instead of the whole blog?

I do love your blog, not trying to criticize.

Hi! I know you through the HG site. I just gotta say, I love this post. And I love what you stand for. I feel the same way. I'm a SAHM mom of three, a conservative Christian, and I do my best to represent Jesus as what he really was, not the horrible twisted version that unfortunately, so many 'Christians' have done in our culture. For that reason I usually cringe whenever a so-called 'Christian' is highlighted on reality TV. They are usually borderline insane and are nothing like what I stand for.

Kudos to you reaching out to that person! I pray that through your contact with him, that Bob can come to know what Jesus, what GOD, really means in his life, and that he will be able to come to the Lord if he isn't already.

Thanks for sharing!

Oh my oh my. :) You've sure reformed your ways, my dear. $85 for a leopard print thong!?!? Maybe this is God's sick way of encouraging vanity in moderation. You'll sure appreciate your exterior beauty and femininity more when you can move without an IV. Love you, love you, wondering about you tons. I think I'll go take a shower (it's been 2 days).

Meredith, you crack me up as always. I used to pay $150 every few months on haircuts and highlights, but how on earth did you manage $400 a month!!?? I think I've had the same shower conversation with myself, but I don't have as good an excuse as you. You'll make it through this, and I think the real problem in the "Now" picture is that flourescent lighting. Who can look good with that kind of light?
